 GRENADA
(The Spice Island) is approx 34 miles long and 14
miles wide. We are situated in the northeast of the
island - closest town SAUTERS is 2 miles away. Car
hire is readily available locally ( Suzuki jeep approx
125 pounds Sterling per week)
Our accommodation (Humming Bird Hill) comprises of 2 brand
new en-suite units (one double and one twin 30 pounds
sterling per double unit per night ) set in 1.5 acres.
Quiet picturesque location. Levera beach 10 minute
walk. They both have tea/coffee making facilities,
cutlery, crockery, fridge and ceiling fan.
For those who wish to self-cater there is a BBQ area with
twin gas hob.
Dining area is situated on the roof terrace overlooking the
Caribbean Sea and having magnificient views of
the Grenadine islands to the north east.
Continental breakfast is included in the price of the room.
Evening meals arranged by request (6.00 sterling PP)

If you are looking for a holiday where you have nightly
entertainment, clubs, discos, fast food outlets etc then
HUMMING BIRD HILL IS NOT FOR YOU!
However, if you like very quiet, beautiful beaches - they
are here for you to enjoy.

RIVER ANTOINE RUM DISTILLERY
IS 4 MILES AWAY. Here you can still see sugar cane
crushed on the oldest working water wheel in the
Caribbean and enjoy a full guided tour of the
Distillery.
GOUYAVE 12 miles away
Fish Friday is a weekly evening outdoor event where you can
sample a wide variety of local fish dishes.
Also in Gouyave you can have a guided tour of the nutmeg
processing station.
By hiring a car there are endless quiet country lanes to
explore with an abundance of flora and fauna.
We are approx 28 miles from the airport - a journey of
approx 1.5 hours (the maximum speed limit in
Grenada
is 35mph)
